I'm not sure if building a PC yourself is a good idea if you're not that knowledgable about the whole ordeal, could be a pain in the ass.
You could mess around with buying a GPU, but this is probably a mediocre prebuilt with a low powered PSU that couldn't handle a dedicated GPU, and that's if we assume there is even a slot for it on the motherboard. Tbh I share the same sentiment as /u/shakuvendell, it's time for a completely new system.
You just have the integrated graphics that are on the CPU itself, that's also how they know it's 8 years old. Also, you don't have a separate GPU, called a 'dedicated' GPU. I don't think anyone here said it, but they extrapolated you having an old i5 from the Haswell generation from the HD 4600 that's in your screenshot, but that still doesn't show which processor you have.
Next time, instead of using this screenshot, press Windows key + R, type in 'dxdiag' and post a screenshot of the first 2 tabs, namely 'system' and 'display.' That way it's easy to see which CPU and GPU you have, along with the amount of ram.
